Tour: The Quilting Practice of Artist Jeffrey Gibson
Friday, March 1, 12:00-1:00 p.m.

Join us from 12-1 p.m. on Friday, March 1 for a tour about quilts and quilt references in the exhibitions Jeffrey Gibson: They Teach Love, From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation and Here in a Homemade Forest: Common Reading Connections. Kristin Becker, Curator of Education & Programs, will highlight three quilts by Jeffrey Gibson, offering the opportunity to see the backs of the quilts hanging on the gallery walls. Prints by artist Wendy Red Star that reference Native star quilts will also be featured.

This tour is free and open to the public, no registration necessary. Donations to the museum are welcome.

Location

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU is located in the Crimson Cube (on Wilson Road across from Martin Stadium and the CUB) on the WSU Pullman campus.
