Arts First Thursdays is an after-hours series at the WSU Schnitzer Museum designed to bring community together through the visual, culinary, and performing arts. Join us after hours to browse current exhibitions, enjoy live local music, and sample small bites from a rotating lineup of Palouse-area restaurants.
Free and open to the public every First Thursday of the month (September through November and February through April). All are welcome! Upcoming dates are:

Current Exhibitions and Something Special
Wander our current exhibitions at your own pace and enjoy conversations with friends. Live music from local performers will provide a unique context not experienced during daytime hours. Museum staff will be available for impromptu conversations about select works.
Performing Arts
Live Music from the Palouse
Each month, we will welcome a new performance from one of the many talented musicians who call the Palouse home. From solo musicians to quartets, from classical to jazz to indie folk, let live music be the perfect backdrop for your evening among the art. Music begins at 5:30 pm.
Culinary Arts
Unique Bites
In partnership with some of our favorite local restaurants, we will offer light bites starting at 5:30 pm. Enter to win a gift certificate to one of our partner restaurants and be sure to visit them in person after Arts First Thursday.
Parking
Free And Paid Options
Take advantage of our updated parking map. Free parking is available in most blue, and green permit lots after 5pm. The closest paid options include the Smith Center (CUE) parking lot or the Terrell Library lot, via the “AMP Park” app, with rates of $2/hour.
Guests seeking wheelchair, stroller or ADA friendly parking locations may park in the CUE (take the elevator to the 4th floor, then travel North up the ramp to the museum).
Location
The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU is located in the Crimson Cube (on Wilson Road across from Martin Stadium/Gesa Field and the CUB) on the WSU Pullman campus.
Visit
Visitors can park closest in the Smith Center For Undergraduate Education parking garage. Daily parking permits can be purchased the same day online at parking.wsu.edu.
