Important Information for Fall 2026 & Spring 2027 Events

Due to the nature and scale of exhibitions in our Pavilion Gallery, the museum has limited capacity to host private and catered events during the 2026–27 academic year. Event capacity will generally be limited to smaller gatherings and standing receptions of approximately 20–30 guests, depending on the exhibition schedule, type of event, catering, and setup needs. Some event configurations, including larger seated gatherings, may not be possible. We are happy to consider your request and will work with you to determine whether your event can be accommodated. Food & Beverage Service

The museum operates as a venue and is not a licensed food service establishment. The hosting department or event organizer is solely responsible for ensuring that all food complies with Washington State University Environmental Health & Safety (EH&S) guidelines and Washington State food safety regulations. Food must be sourced from permitted or recognized providers (e.g., licensed caterers, restaurants, or grocery retailers). If food is handled or served by event staff, all applicable food safety requirements (including Food Worker Card requirements) must be followed. Museum staff do not prepare, handle, or serve food and are not responsible for monitoring or enforcing food safety compliance.

We have a limited supply of furniture for your use. Please check the items you need for your event.

Prohibited Items(Required)

I understand that candles, open flames, and floral arrangements or organic materials are strictly prohibited. Battery-operated (flameless) candles are permitted.

Event Timing Information(Required)

I understand that events include 30 minutes for set-up prior to the start time and 30 minutes for tear-down after the event. I agree to provide at least two (2) individuals to assist with set-up and tear-down and to ensure that at least one representative from my organization is present at the event at all times.
