Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU Tours

The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU offers an opportunity for your class or organization to discover the cultural connections, diverse meanings, feelings and associations that are only gained through looking closely at an original work of art. The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU provides free guided tours of its gallery to school groups, community organizations and the general public.  Please note that busing arrangements must be made by the requesting agency. The tours are approximately forty-five minutes in length, and are facilitated by trained museum staff members. The Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU is not required to censor exhibition, so teachers and parents are encouraged to preview the exhibitions before bringing their classes or children.

Kristin Becker is the Curator of Education & Programs for the museum and works to develop, manage, implement, and curate a cohesive group of education programs that link school and community audiences of all ages with the Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art’s exhibitions and collections. Please email Kristin if you have questions about education tours at the museum: kristin.carlson@wsu.edu.
