Family-Friendly Activity & Exhibition Tour

Jordan Schnitzer Museum of Art WSU

In observance of National Nutrition Month with Pullman Public Schools and Pullman Parks & Recreation Department, join us for a drop-in family-friendly art activity between 10:30am and 12:30pm, and a tour of The Art of Food exhibition beginning at 11:00am. Staff and students from the WSU Horticulture Center will join us at the museum during this program, as well as Jessie Campbell, Nutrition Services Supervisor from the Pullman School District, and Martha Flores, a registered dietitian with WSU Dining Services.

Family Friendly Activity: Collage Garden
10:30am–12:30pm
Join us for a collage-making activity engaging themes of gardening and community, with K-3 ages in mind. Older children and adults are also welcome to participate. One adult from your party should remain with children and young adults at all times as they participate in the activity. This is a drop-in program, you may join us anytime between 10:30am-12:30pm.

Exhibition Tour: The Art of Food
11:00–11:45am
Join a tour of selected artworks in The Art of Food, From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and His Family Foundation, with National Nutrition Month in mind. Open discussion among tour participants will be encouraged throughout the tour, led by Kristin Becker, Curator of Education & Programs.

Free and open to the public, with donations welcome.

These programs are part of the 2025 National Nutrition Month Food Connects Us community events series in collaboration with Pullman Public Schools Healthy Meal Incentives Grant and Pullman Parks and Recreation Department.
